Latter Memo Doesn't Mention FBI Al-Quaida Investigations

WASHINGTON -- Senior government executives say their version of a pre-Sept. 11, 2001 memo given to President Bush doesn't mention then-current threats and investigations.

Bush got his memo -- which has been declassified -- on Aug. 6, 2001, more than a month before the terror attacks.

Federal officials who have read both documents say the second memo -- sent a day later -- didn't mention 70 FBI investigations into possible al-Qaida activity.

Silly...that's because the memo was printed especially for the 911 committee. The other PDB that doesn't match is the real one. Will anyone call them on this?

Details of the first PDB were removed before being more widely disseminated, so what was going to happen wouldn't become obvious?
