Bush would have moved mountains to prevent the 9/11 attacks...
but he draws the line at reading a memo.

2. Ah! Would he have
nuked the mountains of Afghanistan, only way to move mountains that I know of.
Would he have tried to as the Pope said: Use love (meaning how about some social justice)?
Thank Goddess someone hasn't let him use the nukes yet.
As for social justice, he doesn't even know about the commandments Jesus left us: Love God with your whole heart and soul and thy neighbor as thyself. (Whoops, maybe he doesn't love himself, oh dear!)

4. "moved mountains" "moved heaven and earth"
That's what bush & rice said what they would have done if you had made is so easy for them that all you'd have to do is call up United and American and say "don't let those Arab guys on the plane".

Their attempt to frame this question like that makes me sick.

Moving mountains is what you have to do when you only know that an attack is coming, buy you don't know when. It's what Clarke wanted to do, but Bush was too busy clearing brush on the ranch.

5. That is one of the best posts I've seen on DU
You should write a LTTE with that. In a few sentences, you cut to the heart of what's wrong with the Bush admin's clumsy excuses.

8. Thank you!
I'll do that, if I hear bush or rice say it just one more time. Which publication should I write to?

6. Sure, he would have moved heaven and earth,
but he draws the line when it comes to having to stop clearing brush.

7. Yeah, and he would probably kill his dog for five dollars.
I bet he would shoot a random citizen in the head for fifty bucks.

The only time that asshole is going to be moving any mountians will be in his second term, when he starts a nuclear war.

9. Oh my gawd our "president" is the what me worry guy
but it just seems to me Bush is issuing a denial when he says these things, like " I didn't really want this to happen and I wasn't incompetent even though that's what most of you are beginning to catch on to if you're paying attention". If he's the same arrogant, how can anybody question our motives jerk he's always been, then why the denial? You're not guilty are you George? It sounds like a guilty man to me. An apology is different, this is an excuse. Cause if I only would have known then I would have done something. But lookie I didn't know nothing, what me worry?
