Poll question: What do you think about turning Iraq over to an ayatollah?
Here is a question CNN is never going to ask in their polls, so here it is.

7. Yes it is amazing how easily the phrase rolls off the tounges
of the talking heads. Like the world belongs to us and we just hand things over to those who deserve it. There are also a lot of "what the Iraqi people want" pronouncements.

5. Whoever takes over will be worse than Saddam.
Saddam was a "tyrant" and all that but he really didn't have any plans to attack us nor did he have any ability to. Whoever takes over the country will most likely be some maniacal Islamic radical who will actively work to do what they claimed Saddam was going to do. These morons create their own enemies.

6. It doesn't matter who takes over.
There is going to be all out civil war there once we are gone. You wait and see. The Kurds for one aren't going to give up their new autonomy. This is why saner heads weren't willing to git rid of Saddam right away. He did keep some kind of order there. It would have been better to let the inspectors finish their jobs and when no WMD's were found, they should have worked on other ways to pressure him to step down and create a new government in waiting in the meantime. But I guess there is no crying about what could have been done.

Why not get the fuck out of their country and let them decide?
