Okay, my fellow panic stricken DUers-
I just created a emergency meeting room for us,
should our worst fears ever come true...as in NO DU access!
I, like many of you, spent my morning looking for our
community- should we ever experience such a thing again
let's meet up here!

If you do not have a YAHOO user ID and password, you will need
to create one in order to join.
All are welcome-
The Yahoo groups have many user friendly features, such as
photo galleries, files, bookmarks etc...
I think it is a good idea to have an alternative meeting
space, should DU suddenly disappear..GOD FORBID!

There is no question in my mind that with the increasing
escalation DU will increasingly become the subject of
R-wing attack- Most of us are fairly dependent on DU
for news and fellowship- not to mention activism and
organization. Methinks as our numbers grow, so will
the attempt to shut us down.

it and it isn't The Books Banned although we are the rythym section and hold right to the name based on public performances, we even have an old Books Banned video in VHS, it is an entire set shot live at the old IQ's in Green Bay for community tv.

The set opens with the blues of Chicago-Louis Meyer's "Top 'O' The Harp" and ends with Hedrix's Band of Gypsy's "Who Knows" a 10 minutes, or longer jam, and one original song...lol

But I lack the tech to put it on the Internet, plus the video is too dark, very poor lighting-audio is as good as it gets!!!

The best compliment we've gotten from a fan sums up where we're at "music to get pregnant to" lol!
