4. She's Got A Book??? Who Next?

I didn't hear this snorefest, so someone with a stronger picture tube with highlights would be appreciated.

I heard she had written some "mommy" book...nursery crimes or something she scares her kids to sleep at night. Like Unka Dick and the 3 WMDs, Sleeping Bunnypants, Snow Pickles...and so on.

She's supposedly Unka Dick's gatekeeper...anyone really know what her job is with the cabal???

5. She's "political advisor" to Cheney

Although usually she comes across as a rather harmless political hack, someone they send out to relentlessly parrot talking points, she scares me.

According to Richard Clarke's book, there were six or seven people with Cheney in the White House bunker during the crisis on 9/11. Mary Matalin was one of them.

She was also part of the White House Iraq Group that met in the Situation Room of the White House during the run-up to the war. Their job was to sell the war, both to Congress and the people.

We've got her, Scooter Libby and Stephen Hadley...and again, other than "advisors", what are their jobs? Maybe the Plame probe will tell us.

Another in that room was Lynne Chenney! Who the hell invited her? Imagine Tipper Gore coming in and telling generals to keep quiet so she could watch CNN. Dan Burton would have burst a vessel (he's almost tolerable now) and the Hammer would be flying all over the beltway.

She left CNN to work for Chenney, shortly thereafter James gets hired. I thought that was suspect at the time.
