"George sees this as a religious war" W's cousin quoted in new book
Note; this is a Fundie-Right link, which makes it all the more ominous in my opinion. This is a part of Bush's mindset the Press is afraid to ask about...

WASHINGTON – Despite repeated assurances to the nation that he does not see the war on terror as a "religious war," deep inside President Bush recognizes the enemy wants to kill Christians, says a new book on his family.

In "The Bushes: Portrait of a Dynasty," authors Peter and Rochelle Schweizer quote a Bush cousin as saying: "George sees this as a religious war. He doesn't have a p.c. view of this war. His view of this is that they are trying to kill the Christians. And we as the Christians will strike back with more force and more ferocity than they will ever know."

In addition, the authors quote Franklin Graham as saying: "The president is not stupid. The people who attacked this country did it in the name of their religion. He's made it clear that we are not at war with Islam. But he understands the implications of what is going on and the spiritual dimensions."

2. "We as Christians"
Truly, Junior views us all as his property, and the country--indeed, the world--is his to do with as he pleases.

He thinks he's god.

3. Well, their philosophy is drawn from Caligula:
"Let them hate, as long as they fear."

4. Well, if it is a religious war...
the Christian side is losing. Being a pagan Catholic myself, I believe had we not fought the Iraq war and devoted all our time and energy to fighting the real enemy, the terrorists, we would have been the victors. Bush should be IMPEACHED for that one blunder alone--TREASON!

5. You know, I believe this
"And we as the Christians will strike back with more force and more ferocity than they will ever know."

That sounds like something the Idiot-in-Chief would say. It's reminds me of a quote from Woodward's "Bush At War" book:

Woodward tells of a religious prayer meeting on February 5, 2002, attended by 25 men — including three different Special Forces units and CIA paramilitary teams. After a prayer and the invocation of September 11, one of the attendees — speaking for the group — pledged, “We will export death and violence to the four corners of the earth in defense of our great nation.”

I know that's not Bush speaking, but it doubtless captures the "spirit" of the group. And note that while Bush claims to be Christian, his actions are the exact opposite of Christ.

"But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also...

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..."
