Rasmussen poll says bush leads by 3% points
The polls in general are evenly split. Are the people in this country really that stupid that we are involved in a war that had nothing

3. Talk about stupidity
70% identify themselves a Christians -- fine so far
85% believe that Jesus actually walked the Earth -- what's the matter with the other 15%? That's an established fact.
75% believe He rose from the dead -- lemme get this straight, there are some people who think he rose from the dead but they aren't Christians? What else do they need to be converted? Maybe I'm missing something.

As an agnostic, I don't take a stance on Jesus' divinity either way, but these numbers don't make sense.

5. Rasmussen polls are often criticised here on DU
They are always skewed to the right. Better to look at the bigger picture:

6. Why a weekend tracking poll is likely to tilt to the right:
RWers are more likely to be home watching TV when pollsters call on a weekend.

Don't sweat it.

(Sure a 8 point swing in 5 days towards Bush after the bad week he had, sure I believe that. Oh did I tell you about this bridge in Brooklyn I am selling?)

After weeks of increasingly violent news from Iraq, presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts now leads the president in a two-way trial heat by seven points (50 percent to 43 percent), according to the latest NEWSWEEK poll.

ARG Kerry 48-43

8. i just dont believe it is close anymore
i trust none of the numbers, none in polls especially or people that interpret or the people that give them, be it polls, numbers in reports from government, death toll in iraq,

we have had three years of people spouting numbers flat out lying

i feel this country has already kicked out bush. and i feel that the world is gaining confidence. and i feel they are going to be able to deliver a gift, not keep mouth shut cause of bush power

that is what i feel, bush has lost his power to intimidate.

example, when you see in a man what a little dick he has, he will never be the same in arragance

and not to offend, i dont have issue with bitch or dick. ='s to me
