1. How long should we expect American troops in Iraq?
Sanchez: depends on how well Iraqis can take responsibility for their own security. We have seen we have some weaknesses here...(my remark: boy, this is the understatement of the year).

4. You mean, Sanchez, all those Iraqi police officers killed by their own
people as collaborators??!!??

THE PRESENCE OF THE U. S. IS THE GREATEST DESTABILIZING FORCE.

a Bush shill or a normal human being in this program.

7. McCain we will have to expand our military presence there.
Failure is not an option. It is difficult but too much is in the balance here.
Russert: where are we going to get the fresh troops?
Not buy such expensive equipment dedicate to the troops.
INCREASE SIZE OF DEFICIT!!!!

12. It wasn't his "shill" face. He was not just going along with Bush.
It was his "war-mongering face." DO more with more, SPEND,SPEND,SPEND FOR THOSE DEFENSE CONTRACTORS.

"FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION." wHERE HAVE i HEARD THAT BEFORE?

with Broder, Myers, etc. That might be interesting, to see if their slant has changed at all.

11. No good people would be unhappy to have gotten rid of Saddam.
Iraq, the world, and America are better off with Saddam gone.
We are there to stay and we are going to do what is necessary to provide Iraq with a free and democratic society. (does this sound repetitive???)

13. Soldiers are fighting for the justest of all causes. Our soldier losses
are not comparable to Vietnam: in Vietnam we lost more soldiers in one day than what we have lost during the entire period in Iraq (he does not mention that the beginning of the war in Vietnam was the same as here: not TOO MANY lives lost; then all hell broke lose).

He doesn't agree with Bush on ANYTHING, but is still supporting him? What kind of a loyal American is that?

20. Russert listed all the things McCain disagrees with Bush* and
asks him how he can support him. Is he a better man than John Kerry. We should not judge them that way...
He will not only vote for Bush, he is campaigning for him.

22. I'm watching McCain now.
I just got up and already I'm yelling profanities at my TV. McCain is a shill but he's not doing a very good job of it.

I gotta wait for the transcript, but he's told so many lies already....he just said Sadaam had WMDs and if we hadn't overthrown him then he would have acquired WMDs. Well, which is it? If he already had them why would he need to acquire them? This is just one part of the BS McCain has been spewing this AM.

Also, McCain I think said if we don't win in Iraq then all of the middle will devolve into chaos or something like that.

I'm old enough to remember Vietnam, and this is the same shit, recycled, about the domino theory. I'm just sick, sick, sick, of these monsters. I hate them all.

23. Iraq military: "We did not sign up to kill our own people."
Did anyone catch that on MTP when Russert asked the general about the Iraq troops refusing to fight and in Falusa claiming that they did not sign up to kill there own people. the general admitted this happened and there were some problems to be addressed.

25. "The American people are well informed."
Yeah, mcCain said that, too. You Farking idiot! The primary reason we're in such a mess in Iraq is because the American people are most certainly NOT well informed. If they were, they would see through all the BS that comes over the airwaves.

said she did not know; but this is an area where there are questions; President HAS TO TAKE ACTION in situations like this; he might be doing something while on vacation but it is not apparent.

When asked to whom will we turn over power, briefer in Iraq said " That's a good question ". Broder said " That's not a good answer ".
