13. Umm, I think it's more complicated than that...

... but I'm not sure why. I don't spend a lot of time on her, because she's too closely aligned with the forces of evil. I think she's immensely unhappy. My guess is that she thought that being one of the right-wing, defense-oriented, oil-gulping minority would bring her, if not happiness, then satisfaction.

After aligning herself with all those flabby white folk, and having to lie for them, she's now got her ass in a crack for them and is hurt that it didn't work out the way she planned. She'll probably blame the press before she blames herself or the people she lied for, but, by the end of this administration, she'll realize that she aligned herself with the white devils out of her own ambition and got burned for it. She'll spend a lot of time hating herself for it, too.

Like so many shills of the right, she's mistaken a tough facade for truth. If she's as smart as she's reported to be, she might figure that out, eventually. But, still, she's lied on behalf of people who aren't worth even a petty lie. If she goes on believing she's on the path of truth and justice, it will rot her, inside out.
