Newsday - Disputing Rice testimony
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 05:13 PM by Paradise

"The Aug. 6 CIA memo, called the president's daily brief, includes this passage: "The FBI indicates patterns of suspicious activity in the United States consistent with preparations for hijacking." This line was read into the record by Commissioner Bob Kerrey, but the memo itself remains classified. The White House said it may declassify it as early as next week."

Wasn't she going back and forth about hijacking? And, didn't she say it was an historical document containing nothing new?

1. I think this is giving us a little insight as to why Kerrey said what he
did about the Cole. They are going to try to bring the Cole attack into this as well so as to say it was spread across the two admin Bush and Clinton. Kerrey did say it was a matter of opinion on going after Al Queda after the Cole attack. But this Aug 6th memo if correct is very damning, and if it pans out Bush may not look good having that convention in NY at the very least.

2. Whenever I hear the term "historical documents"
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 05:24 PM by LastLiberal in PalmS
I can't help but think of the movie, "Galaxy Quest".

The critical moment is when Tim Allen tells the leader of the alien crew that there are no historical documents -- that they're only a television show -- and that he's an actor, a fake . . . "I'm a liar."

Hello, Condi!

Keep at it DUers! Never give up! Never surrender!

Are you catching the Faux News spin?

"This puts to rest the myth of the Aug. 6th PDB."

6. Further, she testified Thursday,
"The White House said it may declassify it as early as next week." Uh, today is Saturday, right?
I wonder, could somebody be worried?
I'm replying to Original Message, sooo, does this mean I'm talking to myself :silly:

8. The document's "historical", all right...
... it's making history as proof that Condi "Dr. Dumbass" Rice is a perjurious little sleazebag.
