2. Other
Bush will be whatever the historians portray him to be. I would say 10-20 years down the line, the political atmosphere then will determine how we view his actions right now.

5. That the majority of voters were

correct in the fist place and that this person should
never have held the office. His selection was the
biggest constitutional mistake ever made by this nation
which he has proven daily as he continues to hold the office.
His incompetence will be clearly shown with the release of the
8/6/01 PDB. He should resign immediately or face impeachment.
However, who the hell wants Cheney for even one day and fat
chance a republican congress will act to impeach. We are,
as a nation, facing one huge dilemma. The definition of
which is like a deep sea diver being told to get to the
surface quickly because the boat is sinking.

10. That he was an unelected fraud who commandeered the White House
with the blessing of a worthless, spineless Supreme Court's help and that he enabled a pack of criminals to involve this country in an illegal, pointless war that amounted to nothing more than the mass murder of Americans and Iraqis so that they could steal their oil and try to control the Middle East, bankrupt this country, and tear up the Constitution.

14. In 100 Years...
In 100 years we will have fallen into the abyss of another Dark Age. Few of the remaining billion or so humans wandering the desolate landscape will have access to written history.

Picture a few bleak souls crowded around a rusting barrel, burning tires for heat in the height of summer, the sun barely visible behind a coal soaked smog. A saddened figure, a great grandson of someone who used to post on something called DemocraticUnderground, passes on the oral history of Bush as the man who plunged the world into needless, tragic war.

Just then a steel door slaps open and a yellow Hummer comes roaring out of the Domed City. The huddled clan catch a brief glimpse of a tanned laughing figure behind the wheel before the truck disappears in a swirl of smoke. A life unimaginable by all those left outside. They return to their quiet desperation, knowing that this did not have to be. No, this did not have to be.

He single-handedly fucked this country up beyond repair. It's gonna take years to get back to where we were under the Clinton years. For all I care, he shouldn't have a legacy.

17. A hero
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 05:33 PM by mulethree
By setting pre-emptive invasion precedents
and getting out of the Geneva conventions
and getting us out from under international courts
and setting the Gitmo Precedent
and patriot-law civil rights degradation
and invalidating government checks and balances
and putting executive privilege ahead of national security
and letting the church back into the state
and turning over the DoD to civilian warmongering zionists
and promoting the formation of the "West Bank Ghetto"
and rewarding Pakistan after their nuke proliferation
and inflaming the self-righteous right christian zealotry
and inflaming the radical militant muslims
and exposing the "might makes right" doctrines
and the post-enron "honor/oath system" of corporate regulation
and squelching "political speech" except by official parties
and eliminating the dual-taxation of corporate earnings
and privatizing Medicare, virtually unrestrained on the public tab
and generally exposing that the "American Way" has nothing to do
with truth, justice, democracy or Liberty

He set the stage for the great revolution of 20xx

22. 9/11 was his Riechstag Fire
I honestly think historians will put him in the same league as Hitler, Milosevic, Pol Pot, and Stalin.

Nope we didn't get any warning at all.
