How do you get people involved who are cynical about politics?

When I try to get my friends involved....

They say... All politicans are liars and will say anything to get elected. None of it matters. The republicans and democrats are corrupt. The attacks are too partisan.

There are a lot of jaded, cynical, people out there.

1. How old are your friends?

If they're under 25, or have children or grandchildren under 25, "DRAFT" is a good start.

2. Free Beer.

Kegs go well with voter registration drives :-)

3. Find a way to show them how much it's costing them. "Throw

the bums out". We have the power!

4. Sometimes they find out for themselves

Other times you have to use a hammer.

5. Pay them. Do X and you will benefit from it.
