Our favorite genital wart David Brooks seems completely rattled in the face of Mark Shields' ripping of the Admin on Iraq. Brooks calling Sadr a "brownshirt," a "Hitler," being challenged by Shields and Lehrer at every step. Brooks towing some post-WSJ neo-con "intellectual" line.

"Conservative intellectual" - snort. My favorite oxymoron.

These guys use the word "serious" a lot when trying to credit certain senators, admin officials with gravity and intellect they don't really have.

Shields is having none of the Brooks shit. Just destroying the whole disastrous administration policy from top to bottom.

At least Brooks comes back and casts some blame on Rummy.

Now two 911 family members expressing degrees of displeasure with Condoleezza's testimony, one distressed by C's defensiveness and lack of willingness to accept responsibility, the other finding Richard Clarke's narrative more convincing.
