2. We allow every other flag it seems...
Including the confederate flag, which stands for nothing America stands for, even if America doesn't live by the principles it founded anymore...

Dunno what to conclusively think, though I'm thinkin' lots of things right now.

4. This is ridiculous!
I thought that Australia is an ally. Why the hostility towards Australia? This makes no sense. This is American ultranationalism at it's most pathetic. Let her fly the flag!

6. These "community" rules have been...
upheld by the courts and let them be petty little dictatorships.

So, the Marine can fly his flag, but a US ally can't. Just petty bullshit. Wonder what they'd do if a former American UN delegate wanted to fly the UN flag? That service would undoubtedly not count. Nor would a WWII vet who got the French Legion of Honor. No tricolors, even in the window. How about an Israeli dual citizen?

Me, I just can't imagine living in such a place. Unfortunately, they're probably going to lose unless they have a lot of friends and can change the makeup of the board.

(I don't fly any flags-- ever. Let 'em guess.)

8. Not even the Marine Corp flag, those bums!!

"INVERNESS - All flags that are not U.S. flags must come down in Windermere, including a previously approved U.S. Marine Corps flag, the Windermere Garden Villas Home Owners Association unanimously agreed Tuesday night. "

Clip---->
"The board's denial of Hogberg's flag came after the group had given another resident the go-ahead to continue flying a Marine Corps flag. The retired Marine lieutenant colonel declined to comment Wednesday afternoon on the board's most recent decision, which would require him to take down his flag."

Clip---->
"Is the U.S. Marine flag an American flag by definition?" resident Richard Bokus asked the board.

"No," board and audience members answered."
