The "Silver Bullet" and the media

As soon as I heard Condi say this phrase for the second time, I knew the media, in their never ending quest to push the news into palatable tid bits would latch on to it. Exactly what the White House Spin Masters wanted.

The point being, a silver bullet wasn't necessary, what we needed was some action, some notice taken on multiple fronts on multiple warnings.

Perhaps, perhaps that might have prevented 9/11. To simplify things to a simple solution is so typical of this group.

If only they had got that telegram:
