Is This Dead Convoy Truck Driver Another "Contractor"? Photo....
Edited on Fri Apr-09-04 08:21 AM by leftchick
There was a US fuel/supply Convoy attacked today west of Baghdad with some reports saying 12 fuel tankers are on fire! I found this photo at yahoo and am guessing the driver is another of the US paid contractors. Things are definately out of control if they were heading to Falluja to resupply our troops. Here is a link to the LBN story....

3. I'm guessing...
Halliburton employee, not mercenary.

So, just how is this insurgent just walking around like there's no military escort for the convoy?

4. Hair too long
It looks like this guy had locks going down his back. I'm guessing he was a merc and a new one at that, his head would have been cut close for the heat.

There was a piece on the evening news recently showing a job fair for Iraq in Houston. People were willing to put their life at stake for employment in the most dangerous part of the world, drawn for the wages, and the fact they couldn't find a job here.

5. Houston
They also had a large ad here, Sunday edition, in Charleston SC for jobs in Iraq. Maybe they are concentrating on the south to pick up these jobs.
