WASHINGTON - Political objections to wider access for a "morning-after pill" may result in restrictions that intimidate women from using the emergency contraceptive, according to an editorial published on Thursday in the New England Journal of Medicine.

7. You know, I've done a lot of thinking about this....

and I think that their goal is to create a society of serfs. They want women married, staying at home, with a hundred kids, with the husband out working at a minimum wage job or just above. That way they will have a lot of cheap labor available. I think it is about money, power, and control. End-of-rant.

became a convenient fundraiser for tribal leader Rev. Sheldon of the Traditional Values Coalition. Sheldon's group (tribe) leaned on lawmakers to support pharmaceutical industry 'sponsored' legislation which would prohibit import of drugs from Canada.

Sheldon and other right wing groups claimed imported drugs would make the "abortion pill" available.

8. I hate fundies. :(

I am somewhat "pro-life," but I just can't see a zygote as a human being. I also have problems with fundy attitudes toward birth control, toward unwed mothers, etc. They want to force women to give birth, yet care nothing about the babies once they are born. That's something I have real problems with.
