4. As goes California, so goes the nation.
We're just usually first in wacky scenarios...just
learn from the mistakes made here.

7. He already did
At the end of his press conference he used "I'll be back".
Sorry to break the news.

9. Is Maria embarrassed 2 B
seen w/ him? I was hoping Ahnolt was smarter than this - the rabid right is gonna trash this moderate rethug. He does not have the political savvy 2 B mixing it up w/ BFEE - no matter how rethuglican he is.

8. Actually, Larry Flynt is much more embarassing
At least Arnold married into a respectable family

11. Larry Flynt has fought for decades for your free speech rights
Edited on Wed Aug-06-03 08:56 PM by Democat
What has Arnold done for anyone other than himself?

Flynt has proved that he is not afraid to risk his life fighting for the 1st Amendment.

12. Two words
Hustler Magazine.

Now Hugh Heffner - Playboy - is not nearly as bad.

13. Wait...
...he doesn't have to win, you know. Scream when he wins.

We may well be proud to be Californians if Arianna wins, meaning that Issa et al recalled a governor only to get a more liberal one...

14. I'd vote for Arianna
in a heartbeat. She was ruthless as a neocon, and she's now ruthless as a progressive.

Arnold will go down in flames. And I would certainly vote for Flynt before Arnold. Flynt has been exposing Repuke hypocrisy and counter-civil rights scheming for years.

I lived in San Rafael for about 6 months - hated it. Moved back to Colorado. Very glad I did.

16. Arianna has never even been elected to the school board...
I admire her progressive rhetoric regarding the corporations
but she hasn't run or won any office. She would have zero
experience dealing with a legislature. I'm sure living
in Carmichael wouldn't suit her skin either.
