Kerry can easily end the "flip flop" label
and make the RW brown shirts look like complete idiots at the same time. I just heard the audio clip of Kerry during a campaign speech calling some puke hecklers "rude". They were apparently clapping "flipflops" together to make their idiotic point.

Here's what Kerry needs to do. Instead of just calling them rude, he should invite one of them up on stage and ask him to list his "flip flops" one by one. After each point, he should explain the truth (like Franken just did on AA). The truth is on Kerry's side, each of the points is easily explained and/or debunked. It would simultaneously destroy the "flip flopper" talking points and the resolve of the hecklers, AND it would get good media play.

Agree?

2. Disagree, because...
You will never get these guys to come up on stage. If invited, they will not come. If you have ushers guide them up, they will cut and run from the auditorium.

Over at bartcop.com, no one has been willing to debate the man. He's a guy with a registerd IQ of 75 or so, he's always drinking hideous Mexican liquor, and he's dying of cancer, but he has always invited dittoheads to debate him about Republican politics in a chatroom. None have ever dared to, over the last five years or so.

If the hecklers won't debate Bartcop, what makes you think they'll debate Kerry? In person?

What's more, what if those hecklers are Republican functionaries doing the will of their Leader? You think they want to get their faces on camera?

4. Well, in that case Kerry still gets a great soundbite
"These guys are all talk, unless they're actually challenged. They aren't coming up on stage to debate me because they know what they're saying isn't true."

It won't hurt Kerry to at least try it.
