How John Ashcroft is protecting YOU from terrorists (links):

Attorney General John Ashcroft's office has launched dozens of investigations of adult content businesses and filed an obscenity case against Extreme Associates, a California porn firm that sold violent sex videos by mail and over the Internet.

"It's an enormous business ... There's a lot of money to be made," said Sean Kaldor, an analyst with Nielsen/NetRatings, which estimated that 34 million visited porn sites in August -- about one in four Internet users in the United States.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Justice Department is looking for the owner of a Tiffany globe paperweight at the center of an investigation into FBI agents taking rubble from the World Trade Center.

One New Jersey woman whose son died in the September 11, 2001, attacks already has written Attorney General John Ashcroft asking for the globe, saying her son had an identical one on his desk on the 93rd floor of the south tower.

(FindLaw) -- In connection with his defense of the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (or PBABA), Attorney General John Ashcroft recently sought to procure the medical records of 45 patients at a Chicago, Illinois, hospital. He contended that because he sought the records without patient identification, privacy concerns were not implicated.

But last week, a divided three-judge panel of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit disagreed. It held that the Justice Department is not entitled to the patients' medical records, even with their names and identifying information removed.

And the final horror:

Don't click. Trust me on this one.

1. First thing Attorney General Edwards should do
Halt all investigations and prosecutions of adult business that market pornography between consenting adults.

This is not the 1990's anymore. We don't have time for this shit.

2. Don't forget Ashcroft vs Oregon (assisted suicide)
or medical marijuana. But I feel so much safer with Tommy Chong in prison.
