Listed several screens of stereotypes. Asked you to pick which ones you agreed with. Asked how you would feel if son/daughter married an Italian American. Would you vote for an Italian American for President?

WTF??? Why is validating stereotypes of a particular ethnic group poll worthy?

This one really bothered me.

But they worked just now. My mother in law is Italian and so is my brother's wife. So, it was funny completing this one. I wonder who contracted for this one. No pun intended!

Could it be because someone commisioned the poll to find out whether Italian-Americans are perceived favorably enough to run for office in certain districts or even nationwide?

It's possible that the neo-cons are considering Giuliani as a potential running mate should something happen to Cheney, or as a future running mate in the next presidential election. I think one of the reasons Cuomo (Mario) laid low was because of the association many Americans have between IA's and organized crime.

And don't accuse me of stereotyping because I am half Italian-American myself.
