geez, ... no offense meant, but this has been posted about with all kinds of sources and links in the stories in LBN for at least the last two months.
You might want to start listening to shows and reading some sources on the internet that have been talking about this for a LONG time:
http://www.democracynow.org/ (look throught the archives)
http://www.flashpoints.net/ (again look through the archives)
http://www.zmag.org/lam/haitiwatch.htmhttp://www.democracynow.org/static/haiti.shtmlhttp://www.flashpoints.net/archive/archive-2004-Haiti.htmlPacifica Radio (Flashpoints and Dem Now) have had news correspondents on the ground in Haiti giveing reports of what's really going on.
I have MANY more links if you're interested in it, and interested in learning some truth. Aristide used to be a priest that worked with the poor in Haiti. More schools were built for everyone in Haiti in the last 10 years than in the 200 year history of Haiti. Hospitals were being built. Medical schools to train homegrown doctors were underway. Aristide wanted to double the minimum wage of the workers, who are the lowest paid sweatshop workers in the region. The politicians, business interests and media have demonized him.
It's really tragic. It's the latest U.S. coup. Done right out in the open and hardly anyone in mainstream media even takes notice.
Democracy Now and Flashpoints are two really good shows to listen to each day to keep informed - they are archived each day so that you can listen to them on your schedule. Many of the stories you hear are eventually picked up a week or weeks laters by "Dem" talk radio and then sometime in the future (maybe) by mass media. To me, much of the stuff you here on those shows are the stories that one SHOULD be hearing about.
