What sort of world do we want?

Do we want...

... a world where every action by our leaders seems to be designed to reward themselves?

... leaders who seem determined to bankrupt the government so their friends pay fewer taxes?

... a forward looking set of energy policies that really takes the end of oil into account?

... four more years of an administration that nominates extreme RW judges every chance it gets?

... leaders who immediately discredit every critic with incredible rancor?

... our elected (?) leaders to repeatedly tell us that we aren't smart enough to hear the real story? i.e. the energy policy meetings, et al.

... a country where entry into the highest levels of politics doesn't seem to be preordained from birth?



Please add more. As a society, shouldn't we be asking these sorts of questions? ... loudly?
