I'm trying to "broker" a deal between the two. Leo LaPorte was the host of Tech TV's popular Screensavers show who has recently left the network. I can see Air America using a show about technology and the politics involved. He's a very witty and intellegent man who I feel has some good things to add to the debate.

when I was like seven years old. My mom and I would listen to Frank and Mike In the Morning while she drove me to school. :)

I'll tell you someone that might work well on AA and that's Morgan Webb...I'm not certain as to her political bent but some of her little asides leave me thinking she is a very well informed, outspoken lefty. I don't know whether she writes her own script but if she does she is quick as a whip and wittier than all get out. It's a shame to see her wasted reviewing video games. If she's as eloquent dealing with callers as she is reviewing Vid games she'd be a force to be reckoned with. Maybe I'll send her an email and suggest she have her agent get in touch with AA.

5. Man that's really to bad

I'm really going to miss him....he and his partner made a great team. My mom doesn't know jack about computers and she told me she loves watching the show because they both seem to be having such a genuinely great time doing what they do. Hopefully Master Rose can do the job...I do get a little tired of the love fest between him and the little blond girl though....that's just being bitchy I know...but it get's sort of old. I get the impression that he is her nerd beard. A tool to keep her from getting hassled by the geeks so to speak.

What ever happened to that Italian/Jewish looking kid that used to do "call for help"? He just dissapeared one day....pretty funny guy but he always seemed on the verge of a psychotic melt down...which I suppose is why he was so dang funny....hehehe I can laugh at nutz cause I am one....I'm cured now though, so I'm told....hehehehe.

freaked me right out. I don't watch it as much as I used to but I had heard that one of the guys was dating a girl on the show and it was getting kind of silly. I tune in every now and then.

9. Chris Pirillo

No clue what happened to cause TechTV to dump Pirillo; I've
never heard any good rumors about it, much less any facts. But
he's still going strong on his own website, and has a new TV
or radio gig in the planning stages. He's dropped hints about
it on his websites, http://chris.pirillo.com, and
http://www.lockergnome.com

10. I Am Secretly...

in love with Morgan Webb. I believe that she is an executive producer at TechTV. She is sharp as a tack and funny to boot. I also think that she is on the left side. I think her and Adam Sessler would make a great radio pair. They often sneak little snippets of political commentary into their reviews. I have heard several, little, Iraq asides. Plus their self-deprecating, adult based, humor would go over very well on radio.

7. Leo got in big trouble last year

for questioning the war. His blog was filled lots of right-wingers swearing to never watch techtv again.

I can't find the archives but at the time I could not believe the hate I was reading.

13. I was always frustrated

watching Micahel Powell on the show. Kept waiting for Leo to tell him where to go with his deregulation and conglomeration nonsense.

Will miss Leo so much. Love his style. He is a class act!
