Who is Laura Flanders? (Air America)
I'm listening to AA and I like this person. She has obviously skilled at being a host. Where did she work before?

1. I've heard about here but never heard her myself. I agree,
she's good.

Also, I'm enjoying the topic - Black Box Voting with Bev Harris (and others).

And the callers are good, too.

22. It's just one of my weird little "hobbies". Accents fascinate me.
I grew up in a household speaking, reading mostly in English back in the homeland, supposedly as a second language, but feels like first to me. Thanks to overwhelming influence of American movies and TV! ;)

Nice to meet thee, DAGDA56!

9. She was the voice of "Counterspin" for FAIR.
It was on public radio in the 90's. You may remember, they took on Rush Limbaugh in 1994 when he was spewing early lies about Clinton.

29. I loved this program!
Tapping LF for a weekend program was so smart. So, she's got broadcasts Sat and Sunday nights? I'm thrilled with her savvy. I kept trying to peel myself away from her program to do some reading, but I couldn't. Can't wait till tomorrow evening. and to think Peter Werbe will be on Sunday nights as well.

I'm in heaven!

31. Laura Flanders is great
She does Working Assets Radio which you can listen to on www.webactive.com. I think her show was broadcast in SF on Pacifica. I haven't listened to the show on AA though. Is it just the Working Assets show syndicated on AA? Or has she permanently moved to AA now?
