A cartoon for Dean supporters
Joel Pett, an award winning cartoonist and all around good guy, hits the nail on the head.

2. Nails the DLC.
And it is about time someone did.

The DLC was useful in the 90's when we has the ultimate candidate, but now it is time to take a stand on issues.

6. This is so true. The DLC isn't evolving as fast as the American
voters are. Times they are a-changin', and it's time for the DLC to either keep up or shut up, it seems to me.

Maybe they've just been ensconced in D.C. for too long.

4. LOL! I wondered the same thing. Is he really a moose?
Or is he a stylized donkey?

5. He's a begging donkey, not a moose
Edited on Thu Aug-07-03 10:20 AM by orangepeel68
not the DLC in particular, but the party in general. The donkey is completely down on his luck but still worried that things will get worse if he doesn't behave.

That's my interpretation, FWIW.

(on edit: those aren't antlers. those are ragged ears)

7. Thanks! Makes much more sense now! I felt a little dense
with seeing a moose! It's Great and so immensely True! :kick:

8. Looked like a moose to me. Still does.
Now that I know it's a donkey, it makes a lot of good sense.
:hi:
