NBC to air movie about 9/11

I just saw a preview. My wife commented that it most likely start with..."I'm George W. Bush and I approve of the this message".

1. It's a bit early for this, I think

There is a time and a place for everything, and now is too early to be cinematizing 9/11. Someday it will be appropriate, even necessary to tell the story to future generations, but now is too early.

Two and a half years is plenty enough for the healing to have set. It is now time to expose the truths of that day when our vaunted defence forces failed to do the first damned thing to save those peoples lives.

Waiting any longer is sure to allow the truth to become even more buried. Of course we won't get the whole truth any time soon, but a careful examination of that day will begin the uncovering.

letting the healing process begin/continue, but I feel it is to soon because the facts are not facts yet. A large portion of our population will believe what they see on a TV movie more than what the 911 commission concludes. I believe in sharing the all facts soon and often, but right now...who's "facts" are being shared?

But the 'Facts' as most know them are those dished out by the very same people who Let It Happen. Seeing a movie about that day will help the shock recede further and it may begin to allow a closer persual of the real facts such as those which point to funny things happening to the steel in the towers. And just how did the planes disappear from radar, then reappear again? And why did he just sit there when he knew something was wrong and America was being attacked?

Oh.... don't expect the 9/11 Comm to uncover much of anything new. Probably just enough to smear the boy-king. The rest of the facts will take many more years to make it into the light of day. Bring 'em on. The sooner the better, eh?

Ugh!!!! Not only is it too soon, we haven't even got half of a real accounting of the governments true actions before or EVEN on that day. I for one am counting on major protests to stop this. Is this supposed to be BEFORE the election? This smells big time.

If so, how can anyone accept that producing a fictional piece of crap that presents President Blithering Idiot as a decisive leader and showing it on national tv, especially during an election year can be anything other than blatant, extreme political bias by a national tv organisation?

Imagine if someone produced a movie showing Clinton in a good light? It would be banned before the production was even complete, and the hysterical yowling by the rethugs would be heard in the Falkland Islands and beyond to the Antarctic Coast.
