Gulf War Syndrome

pg. 293-294 Living History

--- "I recommended a Presidential Advisory Comittee that Bill appointed to review the issue. He later signed legislation to cover disability benefits for eligible Gulf War veterans with undiagnosed illnesses and directed the Veterans Administration to set up better systems to screen and monitor our troops in the future."
-------------

Did the Veterans Admin. do this? Right after this recent invasion there was a report that the troops were not doing as ordered: were not wearing masks when around exploding munitions. doing nasal swabs, etc.

Just how has the VA "monitored" our troops this time?
