7. I bet AA has more listeners on the Web than through the air
What 5 markets on the radio? It's a big country. You know where all us cube rats with Internet access are surfing to.

2. and what were the ratings for Rush Limpball's first day
my wife was pissed when they kept saying on the news that AA was "only" reaching 10 or 15 million when Rush gets 60 million or something.

What the hell did he get on HIS first day?

3. Last I heard Rush got 15 million per week.
Can't say I know this for an absolute fact though.

4. Randi Rhodes reported her ratings at WJNO...so I bet she'll mention
Edited on Thu Apr-01-04 09:51 PM by Gloria
them if they do well..

In FLorida, she went from a 5.something to a 6.something (nearly 7) recently. I heard them on Tues. (the last of the two week reruns).
She was blowing Rush's ratings out of the water...

6. Exactly the Internet and satellite radio (XM)?
Edited on Thu Apr-01-04 10:35 PM by Zinfandel
San Francisco (bay Area, six million plus) begins broadcasting in two weeks, and a few more will pop up...and AAR needs some stations in the south, Boston and the mid west.

8. No overnight ratings in radio
Arbitrons are officially four times per year, with monthly 3-month trends.

We have to wait a couple months to see anything resembling ratings.

10. Diaries.
Except for a few "people meter" style markets (which are notoriously inaccurate), all Arbitron ratings are through diaries kept by randomly selected families.
