Poll question: 2000 election Anger- Purge of 80,000 + voters or Ralph Nader
Note- I voted for Gore in 2k! Plain and simple what triggers more anger in you regarding the 2000 presidential election?

1. simple minded poll
Surprisingly, I'm capable of being concerned about MORE than one thing at a time.

5. Exactly...
...we know they are our enemies, and that they are not to be trusted.

We only found that out about Nader recently.

10. People who place...
... the theoretical perfection against the practical reality will always lose. I'm tired of losing and if Ralphie had done what he himself said he would do we would not have lost.

Nader is unrehabilitable. His politcal career is over, he just hasn't figured it out yet, as apparently you haven't.

13. Nader is right.
The Dems should embrace some of his ideas and try to bring him into the left side of the fold. But no, they'd rather whine incessantly about it. Keep whining about Ralph, while the repubes beat you again. If the Dems cannot get enough votes to win, too damn bad.

11. this point always seems to get ignored
we are talking about a major civil rights violation.
People died to obtain voting rights and in 2000 we regressed back to the bad old days once again.
It was a racist and illegal thing that took place. One of the things that Democrats are 'supposed' to stand for are civil rights.

12. I'm more pissed at the vote stealing
As I just said in a different post: There's a difference between having a right to do something, and that something being a good idea.

Nader had every right to run. It was just a stupid idea to run the way he did. And it is a stupid idea to run again.

9. I see what you're getting at... alas, to no avail.
Many here simply won't allow themselves to think through the issue, sans convenient fingerpointing. (Nader is evil. A GOP plant. A traitor.)

It's really very comical. A little sad, too.
