Letter to the Editor (Waterville, Maine)
Hi all!

Just wrote out my monthly letter to the editor to the Waterville Maine Morning Sentinel...a semi-independent paper (owned by Blethen). They've printed a couple in the past, so I'm hoping they print this one too...

EXCERPT:
The American people have once again been lied to by perhaps the most corrupt administration ever.

The Bush Administration LIED to make the case to attack Iraq. The administration knew a year in advance that the Niger documents were fake, but used them anyways so that they could get support for their war. Bush knew that the documents were fake, but in his State of the Union address (a year after the administration found out the documents were fake) he used these documents to sell this phony war to the US people. The "Weapons of Mass Destruction" have not been found, and the tie-ins that the administration did between Iraq & 9-11 are false. The war which we fought and Americans continue to fight was and is based on lies by corrupt, greedy politicians.

200+ Americans have died for this war (and continue to die every day...not to mention the hundreds of wounded--'Bring Them On' indeed!). The numbers of Iraqis killed reportedly could be 6000. Iraq is in chaos, and the world opinion of the United States has dropped lower than it's ever been. But, the oil is pumping!!!

When does this end? We put our country into chaos over a president's sexual indiscretion a few years ago, but now we have a country where the administration lies to us, thousands of people are killed, and yet there is no outrage.

2. Hello from another Waterville Mainer!
Love your letter. It's great that we have a paper like the Morning Sentinel that goes so light on the Bush brownnosing and shows that we're not all Rove-Stepfords! Bravo!

3. They've been pretty good at printing...
...my letters...I've only sent four, and they've printed 2. I've learned to wait a couple of months between (one of the reasons I'm doing rants on my site now...catharsis is good!!!)
