RW radio punks supposedly anxious for Condi to testify...
Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 03:02 PM by Richardo
...Hannity, Ingraham, Rush all insist that they can't wait, and that they're confident she'll slay them.

I know they're not considering that these will be probing, tough hardball questions, not the marshmallow softballs they're used to.

Idiots!

1. I don't know.
I know they're not considering that these will be probing, tough hardball questions, not the marshmallow softballs they're used to.

I'm not so sure.

2. BenViniste and Gorelick will not let us down...
...that one thing I'm confident of. Also, Kerrey (on Franken's show) also indicated that he would not hold back. I'm not so confident about him, tho.

3. They just want it over with sooner rather than later.
They know how Condi will preform and the sooner the dust settles on this Clarke thing the better for them.

If it stays in the news it is bound to affect Chimp's poll numbers sooner or later.

4. Just day ago they were praising Bush for sticking to "principle."
They really get their talking points from the WH. By most standards Bush has shoves so-called "principle" aside and heeded the polls and caved in to poll results and the politically expediant thing to do.
Were it Clinton they would call it "waffling."

5. The "principle" was pure bullshit anyway: 911 Comm is NOT legislative body
It's executive branch too. (Or as Smirky would say: the 'Administrative' branch).

John Dean punctures this argument very effectively in "Worse Than Watergate"
