Anyone got a link to listen to Air America on the web?

All of a sudden their main site link only leads to a list of stations and cities and nothing else. I'm in Tucson so of course I get shit for good radio programs. Their site no longer seems to have a link access the show online.

Help i wanna get access before Franken comes on!!

1. When are they going to hit the airwaves where they are actually needed...
as opposed to cities and states where we have no chance of losing?

Let me guess, after the election.

3. I'm trying to pick up the am station here inside my apt. but
I can't get the reception. I hope I can get it in my car. I tested it last week and I could (of course then it was another station). Hopefully everything will go as planned. I don't know if it's 12 L.A. time or EST. I'm going out to my car in a little while and I'll ck. it out.

5. Try these online streams

They're playing music and sound clips now. Fraken should be on at 12 noon EST. You can sign up on the main site, but there's a delay in receiving your e-mail passwords.

10. yo, Rocknation! Thanks for the links!
Am here in a land devoid of any clear radio signal, and definitely no liberal programming!

Love that I can get stream without using Real Player. Have had so much trouble with it crashing the computer in the past that Havocdad won't even try the latest version of it. Anybody have a testimonial about Real Player getting the bugs out that I can use to state my case to him to try it again? Just the same, I need to backup a lot of data before I try it!

6. I'm guessing interest is far beyond what they expected.
You know, with all the liberally biased media out there, it's a real mystery why so many are so thirsty for a station providing a liberal viewpoint.

(/sarcasm)

8. Hey, noahmijo, call KXCI and ask them about it
Man, I miss that station since I moved up to Tiny Town, Montana! Where I am now, there is one static accompanied country western station. Count your blessings, Tucson is in better shape than most of the nation.

Seriously, get a program guide from KXCI and you may find some decent broadcasts. Put a bug in their ear about Air America.

Say hi to the mountain lions for me. :hi: Sabino Canyon in the spring.... ahhhhhhhh

11. Speaking of Sabino Canyon

It's still the crown jewel here of Tucson, but it had some drama. Apparently Mountain Lions lost their fear for humans so the residents up there started complaining about finding them in their yards, ect, so an order was given to have the lions wiped out.

In my opinion what happened was some stupid yentas probably saw one in their backyard and they banged pots and pans at it and pissed it off. I'll admit I'm not exactly Mr. Animal lover, I'm a meat-eater and all, but you don't kill just try to wipe a species or a section of them for no reason especially if they were there first. You see one trying to maul your kid or a loved one that's different, do what you have to do in that particular incident, but to start systematically killing them off just cause some old ladies complain about seeing them in their yard that's wrong.

Happy ending though, our governor gave into public pressure (killing the lions was unpopular overwhelmingly) and we've gone from simply sedating and moving them, to now I think all plans to do anything with them have just been dropped.

Thanks for the links and help guys.

13. been following the mt. lion saga via the Daily Star online
Loved the guy who dropped lion scent all over the place to confuse the dogs used for the hunt! We have a chap right here in town who makes those scent drops. I bet his website has been getting hits from Tucson! LOL. The world is smaller than we think.

I know some groundskeepers at Vantana who have some great stories about lions and early tee off times! Seems the big kittys like sand traps on rainy nights.
