Just booked my flight to NY for the RNC....!!!!!

I've got a hotel room booked just south of Central Park, and may need a female roomate (as I am female). Was planning on a friend accompanying me, but looks like those plans are going to fall through. If anyone potentially needs a place to stay and wants to split the cost, keep me in mind and let's talk.

12. With only 45 posts to your name...
and freepers lurking everywhere, it's only natural to wonder why you'd want to go to the RNC. Sorry for the confusion.

9. Sorry for the question. Sometimes freepers post here, too
And I wouldn't want to cheer someone who is attending the RNC to cheer Dubya.

Welcome to DU :hi:

6. Only one problem.......If it's true.
There is a rumor going around that the RNC is going to be moved to Huston. I don't know if there is any truth to that, but i heard it on the Guy James show.

7. Hmm...oh well.

If it moves then I'll still be able to enjoy the city and see some shows. It seems a little late in the game to make such a major change in their plans.

8. I hope they don't move it
I live on Long Island and i am going to be a protester. If it moves, i don't have the extra cash to fly to Huston.

10. If it moves, and I doubt it will, I'll take your place as a protester.
I'm only a couple hours from Houston. Heck, I might make it to NYC anyway.

14. Budget is the only constraint. Oh, and getting time off from work.
There's just so many places I want to go, and so many people I want to see. I REALLY have to get back to Chicago. Sigh...why can't I be independently wealthy? :D
