Anyone want to volunteer? I would love to meet Portland Du'ers. Powell's is paying for the set-up to promote the MoveOn book "50 ways to love your country" which is full of ideas for mobilizing community and political organizing on a mass scale. We want to bring together anyone in the community that wants to engage in direct organizing, register voters, bring groups together so we can swing this state where it needs to go! If you have a group you want to introduce or recruit for, there will be literature space and we will engage in general discussion, complete with flip charts and mikes to share. We just have to steer clear of specific campaigning for specific candidates.
