Hey, what ever did happen to G. Gordon Liddy?
Years ago, when I wanted to laugh at silly the conservatives were, I used to tune in for a few minutes. Then one day, I heard Liddy advocate killing ATF agents, whom I regard as courageous law enforcement. I used to work closely with law enforcement when I was a social worker -- they helped me help kids. We 'worked' the meth labs in San Bernardino (shutting them down, helping the kids). Occasionally, ATF was involved in taking down a particular kind of organization Anyway, after he advocated harming officers, I stopped listening. That day, the station took him off of the air.

5. Hey, he's turned comedian.
What was his last book called? Oh yeah, When I Was a Kid, This Was a Free Country

I never laughed so hard in a bookstore as when I saw that on a shelf.

I don't think I had ever laughed in a bookstore, come to think of it.

Mom raised me right correctly.

6. He was a guest on C-Span not too long ago
totally out of it, I thought.

Some guy from Michigan called in and said there were NO jobs there-cited the many lay offs --he was a fifty year old, who had spent a long time working for one company and was laid off and cannot find any job at all.

Liddy's suggestions to him-- move to Arizona--there a lot's of jobs there. I am serious. This is what he told this fifty year old man. Totally without a clue-these people are true sociopaths without one cell in their body capable of empathy or recoginzing the suffering in others.

12. If you wanna see G. come out to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
in Sturgis South Dakota. His wrinkled ole ass rolls around on a Harley out here...for a couple days every year. The locals were treated to his sage words on a piece put on by a local network last summer. I tell you...the ole buzzard better stop the tough guy talk...one of these days someone is gonna tear his head off.

He sure likes his John McCain. I wouldn't have guessed that...I had him pegged as a DeLay/Dick Armey/Gingrich sort.
