The comments made in the rest of the thread were dead on.. as you can see from the date, this was just after the 2002 debacle.. and my predictive "skills" have been somewhat "proven".:(

I think that during this next year, our people in DC should just GIVE THEM WHATEVER they want..

The time wasted in fighting their insane proposals will not be useful in the end, and only bring on the parrotish "Obstruction, bwaaawk"..

Just let the public KNOW that since "they" apparently wanted a rightwing agenda since the ones opposed to it did NOT vote and the ones who DID vote apparently were in favor of it, the rightwing ideas are IN..

Ram stuff through as fast as possible and let the public "enjoy" that agenda for year or so before the real 2004 posturing begins..

When unemployment hits 8 or 9 % , the dow keeps slipping,the seniors find out that their little "drug card" + $1.00 will buy them a cup of donut shop coffee...

When the schools kids are singing Jesus Loves Me before recess and high schoolers are being taught that Jesus had a pet dinosaur..

When the "draft" bill passes and poor kids start getting swept into "national service"...

When ANWR gets poked full of holes an the old growth gets logged..

...

After these things come to pass and only then, can we stand up and say I TOLD YOU SO..

It's sad that these things will happen, but last Tuesday pretty much set the pace for it to happen..

What on earth will the bloviators on the radio /tv had to talk about if, the dems just go along with the chimpster??

We do need to remind people from time to time that, we still believe in the ideals that set us apart from the Republican Ravagers, but are only "doing the will of the people"...

Behind the scenes private investigators need to be hired en masse, and this should be kept hush hush.. This is where some of that "celebrity money" would come in handy...Remember how scared shitless they were during the Larry Flynt episode.???

We are not having a Sunday School class monitor election.. This is the real deal, and the time has come for us to fight fire with fire..

When the media lapdogs can find no reason to keep trashing the Dems, who knows, they might be interested in some anonymously submitted "information" on the ones in charge..

Media loves to take people down.. The ones at the top are most vulnerable.. They might not go after Bush yet, but sooner or later they will..
