Any news on upcoming Plame Leak indictments?
The last I heard was that Joseph Wilson would be naming who he thinks the leaker of his wife was in his book coming out this May. Isn't he prohibited from doing this (libel laws) unless there are indictments handed out in April? Could he possibly name the boss (Cheney) giving orders to the indicted party (Libbey or Hannah) without being brought to court himself?

Regardless of what happens, this is getting fun to watch. Every month, someone from the inside comes forward to help drag the Bush Administration down. Clarke is doing great, but I think the Plame Leak has the best chance to bring the whole house of cards tumbling down.

1. yes,
and don't forget the medicare scandal that is brewing. if the press does it's job, we're in for a wild ride. of course, that is a rather big "if."

4. Sorry, Granny, the press doesn't investigate truth or even report much
news. They just repeat what their long-established sources tell them.

However, because of the powerful AARP lobby, the raw deal of the Bush's medicare scam may get out to the masses.

2. It's better than a soap opera
I keep telling people this. It's just too bad this is so damn tragic and the consequences will have to suffer because of the drama of the last 4 years.

3. ....and guess who waiting in the wings?
Richard Foster," on the Medicare actuary who revealed how the administration had deceived
Congress about the cost of its prescription drug bill.

Many many many exciting high adventures are waiting to hit junior squarely in the chops. This is what 'ya call, "busting shops"

6. That's another one!
Has Richard Foster named anyone specifically who told him to lie about the true cost? Could it be a double whammy for Cheney?

5. I was wondering that, too
If he purposely timed his book to come out after indictments are handed down. I haven't heard any recent Plamegate news, but the longer this goes on, the better for us because it's getting closer to the election, when the scandal can do more damage.

7. I think the indictments themselves will be the real big deal.
especially if Cheneys chief of staff is indicted.
