Do you think Condi will use the "race" card at the public hearing??
I keep thinking of Clarence Thomas who used that "electronic lynching of a black man" when being questioned by the commission. I wouldn't put anything past Rove.
Stewart showed a clip of Robert Novak asking a guest if Richard Clarke's beef with Condi was that she was black. The guest called the idea rediculous. Count on the introduction of the race issue. Novak was probably given the (set up) talking point by Rove.
I forget most of it, but he sarcastically remarked that the "race card" was heretofore not even known to exist in this case, and how Novak was such a great defender of civil rights. He ended up demonstrating how interested in defending liberty Novak was by pointing out how he outed an undercover CIA agent who was fighting terrorism and nuclear weapons proliferation.
Too bad she doesn't have a uniform to wear like Ollie.
Maybe we can get a potted plant to sit next to her on the table a la Ollie's lawyer.
Nothing new will come of this.
She'll play the victim, as will the iddle widdle Wove and company.
We need an ad like the "Clock one" that had a split screen of Bush and a timeline on the one side, and the burning towers on the other (w/ Mozart's requiem playing in the background)
This time-- we'll need Rice's testimony split screened w/ the same images.
8. They may well be planning on turning this into an Ollie North event
such as "I did what's right and patriotic Americans should be thanking God Almighty that George W Bush and I were there to take care of this country after Bill Clinton got a blow job."
