Richard Clarke on the Daily Show

Just turned Comedy Central on to a promotion for TDShow. I wanted to post this as a previous thread stated he was not going to be on tonight. Uhhhh... Unless the promo should have been pulled. I plan to tune in regardless.

Brave enough to tell the truth--and so fly in the face of--enormous intimidation from the forces of darkness, to bring down that force. In 1973 a young man named John Dean knew that, and did so in his testimony about his conversations with Richard Nixon. Now, in 2004, Richard Clarke is doing the same thing--STICKING IT--to Dub & Co.

At the least, Clarke's bosses were completely asleep at the switch on the threats from al Quaeda; at the worst, they knew all the details and deliberately did nothing because, to paraphrase Dick Cheney about why he didn't serve in Viet Nam, they "...had other priorities". And now they have no choice but to cover their butts by trying their best to lie their way out of it. :mad:

Oh, well; another living proof that "The truth will make you free"!
