Media Whores promoting "inevitability" of Arnold same as with Bush in '00
Just as they turned a blind eye to Bush's personal problems with cocaine and whiskey, they are now turning a blind eye to Arnold Swartzenegger's womanizing and questionable character...

They are simply ignoring it the same as with Bush and have decided to attack Gray Davis as a "negative campaigner" in an attempt to quell any criticism of the totally unqualified body builder. MSNBC seems to be leading the pack but FOX will soon surpass...

They talk about how much they hate Hollywood but then they go goo-goo over the first Republican that bats their eyes at them. Nothing at all about his qualifications or what type of Governor he might be. It's a disgrace.

2. This is why we need to have our own media
The Conservative Right was so smart in taking over talk radio and then creating Fox News.

7. We don't have money like they do.
The left has money, but as much as the right.

3. Wait for it . . .
The potential oppo on Schwarzenegger is miles long. I don't know what the man is thinking, getting into the race, but any candidate worth his or her salt should make hay out of (and this is just for starters):

1. Arnold's father's Nazi connections

2. Arnold's nude photos

3. Arnold's business ventures (Planet Hollywood)

4. The open secret of Arnold's appetite for women and booze

5. Full disclosure of Arnold's income and personal worth

6. Red Sonya

6. Honestly,
I don't think anyone cares, esp. in CA, about 1 (It's not him, it's his dad), 2, or 4. Is 6 a movie??

Only 3 (if he did something wrong) and 5 (again, if he did something wrong) are going to matter.

My brother said he's going to go register to vote just so Arnold will win. He doesn't even care about politics.

It's a dangerous time.

Sounds like your brother'd be happy if Arnold walked into the legislature and....well, "did his thing" ala TERMINATOR. People are living in fantasy land.

11. Unfortunately, ever since the exploits of . . . .
President Clinton, the charge of infidelity doesn't quite have the same sting it used to. It will be a non-issue, unless he is caught in a new dalliance.

12. I agree with you,
kentuck. The media coverage of Arnold that I saw today was sickening. They are really playing to the dumb people, and the dumb people are eating it up. This recall is a very serious thing, and the media (especially Candy Crowley) are saying how much fun this is going to be. This is just so disgusting.
