Air America and the Liberal Media

I wandered down to my Brother's house yesterday evening just in time to catch some sort of Network News (ABC?) thing on Air America. Some fat snarf was wailing about how the left already controls the mainstream media, and it's unfair that the left would have a liberal-specific broadcasting network.

Forget the logical inconsistency in his argument and think about this from his free-market worshiping point of view. If it's just more of the same, then it's not really a threat. And if it's just more of the same, it will compete for finite revenue with the established dominators of the "liberal" media. By either measure is no threat to the right.

So why the whining and hand-wringing, pudgy boy?

2. *liberal media* is always taken out of context by the left.....

...they aren't referring to a liberal political media when they say that...they actually mean it in regard to the *liberal entertainment media* the conservatives are quite liberal in allowing what they loathe about society be broadcast all over the media...so they can use it against the entire Democratic political ideology....it's amazing to me how this definition of *liberal media* isn't being put in its proper context.

He will be on at 6:40, to discuss the new liberal radio station.

And he said from here on out, he will be on once a week.
