Screw NPR and Public TV, Government should subsidize C-Span...
Frankly I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get it because of lack of cable or high speed internet.

1. Let the theiving cable industry fund it like it always has.
We don't need tax dollars in it. They can afford it.

4. Oh, gawd.
To balance the overwhelmingly liberal PBS with its shows like....uhm (I'm thinking, I'm thinking)...all I can think of is Bill Moyers' NOW and maybe the occasional POV? Why can't PBS be more like the CBC???

10. Bingo
Which is why PBS is a world of difference from the BBC. One receives money from the government budget, the other is chartered as a Public Corporation with the right to directly levy a fee on each TV sold.

6. "The following program has been underwritten by...
Raytheon and Boeing."

I cringe when hearing this during NPR sponsorship recognition 'ads' The last thing we need is government intervention in C-Span...

7. Absolutely NOT! C-Span is the ONLY fair chanel on TV!
Yes, there are callers who think they are right, or left, or who knows....someting else, and yes, there are some guests I just don't watch. But C-Span is the ONLY broadcast that stays neutral.

God forbid they get Government subsidies. They then will owe something to the politicians!

Lamb would never let that happen! That God!
