A Sad and troubling fact of Bush WH philosophy ....
Richard Clarke, arguably the world's most capable and knowledgable Anti-Terrorism expert, is being attacked viciously by the very same parties whom were so ineffectual against Terror ...

They would RATHER besmirch the reputation and honor of someone who REALLY knows how to deal with Terrorism, and support those who did NOTHING to protect our nation even when presented with likely scenarios of death and destruction ...

The GOP supporters of Bush are BAD for our national security, and BAD for our economy ....

The GOP are BAD for America ......

WAKE UP America ! .....

1. Hear you, they will not discuss the issue, they will not review the record
they will attack the messenger. Bad policy, and I don't necessarily mean electorally, y,know?, bad policy period...

2. And they and their party have become
masters at it these past few decades, too. We need to learn to quit cowering and do the same!

3. I like what Clarke is doing now...
... and despise the white house reaction. However, we might want to look closer at Clarke before we conclude that he is entirely "on our side." In an interesting article by Harold Meyerson from the Times-Post News Service that is carried in today's Press&Sun-Bulletin (Binghamton, NY) he mentions that "Clarke concludes his book making a qualified case for establishing a security subagency within the FBI that would be much like Britain's M15 -- a suggestion clearly not on the ACLU's wish list." This is not intended to lessen the significance of what Clarke has done recently. But it's worth the left's time to look very closely at this aspect of Clarke's plans.
