Moonies, brainwashing and the mass media
Remember back in the 70s all the stories about the "Reverend" Moon and the success of his methods to convert others to his so-called church? Fast-forward to the present day. Is it possible that the Republicans have been able to combine advertising, Moon's methods and Fox New's(and others)incessant cheerleading for the Bush administration to effectively brainwash those that are easily influenced?

Discuss.

2. I think it is just not the *Bush administration. I think the media
has been manipulating for years. I for one, a few years back used to repeat soundbytes, and gathered my opinions from the little snipets I would catch on CNN. I thought I was a "Reagan Republican". I was working my butt off raising two kids by myself and did not have the time that I have now that I no longer need to work. I truly was naive. I think that is how alot of people that I know are as well. Everyone is working, raising kids, stressing over bills, and they are just too busy keeping the wheels on to really pay attention. I think that is the way the elite have planned it. Both partners have to work, to have any kind of lifestyle at all. 8 hours working, 8 hours sleeping, 2 hours commuting, 5 hours cooking breakfast, dinner, doing the dishes, helping with homework, doing a couple of loads of laundry, making lunches, dropping off and picking up from baseball practice, one hour to wash your face, brush your teeth and have sex if you are lucky. We are too busy to notice, and have too much to worry about, we have put "them" in charge and we are crossing our fingers and hope that everything goes well. That is how we got here in the first place.

3. No...

I was with the Moonies in 1980 and 81 and what they did was love-bomb you. The republicans don't love bomb you,
