Answer to the poster who suggested many Canadians want to join USA

There were a few links to right-wing sites talking about joining the U.S.A....I'm sorry but this is just alarmist stuff with no basis in reality....It is ridiculous....These groups are on a par with the militia groups in the United States that threaten to leave the States....Every poll taken in this country shows overwhelmingly that we want to stay Canada....It's not that Canadians are anti-American we just want to remain who we are!...:hi:

8. I Admire Canadians, I Don't Know Why

Once I was ridiculed when I said that Canadians were much smarter and more sophisticated than U.S. I listed the Canadians who have been successful here in the U.S.: Lorne GREEN, whassisname and whassisname, Peter JENNINGS, Alex TREBEK, the little short guy, and I could go on and on, the Star Trek guy (Captain). They are SO witty.

I always said it is always amusing to view such things espcially when your country pretty much has it's act together compared to the U.S.

I have my own political party that advocates Oregon and Washington leaving the Union. It has been around for a couple of years but I am afraid that people aren't ready for secession. Keep in mind, I am not in a militia nor am I right-wing. I started this party because I was angry at how the system has let people in the Northwest region down, plus I thought our lifestyle, our heritage was under attack. I still think many of our Northwest values and heritage is worth fighting for and I will do my part to save and protect it but independence is ways, ways off. Here is the link to my site...
