Newsmax's wishful thinking.....re liberal radio.
They posted an article, "Liberal Radio Desperately Seeking Dittoheads." (A) the fans are not going to be dittoheads or anything like that, and (B) they are dreaming if they think that it won't be successful.

P.S. I love Sirius and am going to alternate between Hartmann and Franken. I've never been a Howard Stern fan but I will fight to the death for his right to make his program available in his style to his listeners. I hope that he joins up with satellite radio and puts it on the map!!!

And I hope that conservatives don't get control of satellite radio. At least Sirius seems to let me listen to liberal radio in peace.

1. I am seriously considering getting "Sirius" (no pun intended) -
how much is a subscription and where does one acquire the radio itself? I'm sick to death of bubble gum music on the radio and I'm looking for an intelligent alternative.

2. Sirius is $12.95 a month....
Or $400ish for a lifetime subscription (lifetime of the tuner, not you).

You can get the equipment at Circuit City, Tweeter, Crutchfield, or similar places. You can also get it at Best Buy, but don't because Best Buy is evil.

4. I personally spent about $150.00 and I'm a big spender.
You can now get it for less. I splurged for a home-docking unit, a car-docking unit, and the Kenwood unit you can move back and forth between the docks. You can do it for cheaper. Plus they now have a promotion, I believe, and I did get a rebate.

I pay about $13 per month. But if I buy another receiving unit I will much less per unit. To me, it is well worth it.

And it is going down in cost by the minute. My installation was cheap because I am using the tape deck in my car. It is more expensive if you want to have what is called a modulator, which supposedly makes for better sound -- and my sound is already excellent -- but my tapedeck revolving makes a small noise. But with the car engine running -- it is insignificant.

5. Anyway, the point is ...
to H*ll with them (Cons, Freepers)! We will patronize our liberal radio! They will never squelch our free speech! And they are dreaming if they think that the World is all conservative! The group of progressives in this country is large/numerous -- and we will have our say!
