So I guess they wouldn't have any objection to using that clip in a Kerry commercial.

4. White House and Black Comedy
The White House announced today they will never apologize about anything. They consider any apology "girly" and non-presidential. Apologies are for wimps like Clarke and Kerry. If you want apologies, vote Democratic in November.

In a related story, the army will begin showing the slide show to the wounded troops as they enter the field hospitals as a way to boost morale. All troops will be required to laugh loudly or face a general court martial.

That is all...

O

6. I heard so much spin this morning my head hurt
Edited on Fri Mar-26-04 12:28 PM by RobertSeattle
RW Talk Radio was trying various spins:

"The President needs to be able to be humorous" - No Sh*t - we aren't talk about that - just certain humor shows no class - especially as President

"The President is a great man because he can do self deprecating humor" - Again - being able to laugh at yourself is a good sign (Bush must laugh quite a bit then). But again they change the subject - this wasn't funny.

"Democrats need to lighten up " - Goto http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/world/iraq/casualties/facesofthefallen.htm?nav=hptop_ts and tell me to lighten

"Kerry made an assassination joke" - No equivalence.

7. I heard another fantastic Republican defense of Bush's jokes.
"C-C-C-Clinton's cock! CLINTON'S COCK! Uhh.... Clinton's cock! I mean uh...uh... uhhhh... Clinton's Cock!"

8. Sharpton sums it up best
<snip>

"Well, that's not a joke to us, Mr. Bush. Five hundred soldiers lost their lives, looking for weapons that weren't there. Billions of taxpayer dollars were spent looking for weapons that weren't there," Sharpton said. "But guess what? You gonna look out that window in January and see a moving van to send you back to Texas."

9. That's what he thinks. Now, how
about we ask the family members of those dead men and women what they think, and how funny was that joke to them
