Local TV News broadcast hijacked by repukes? -advice needed, please.
I was watching a local news broadcast last night.
They showed a few seconds of last night's big Democratic fundraiser in DC, then cut into a clip of * saying he didn't know about 911, it was framed so it looked like the * clip was part of the Democratic fundraiser story.

It sounded like they would cover the Democratic fundraiser story, but they mostly showed *, telling his big lie.

The news anchors didn't say anything and were acting like they didn't know it was happening, no "we are having technical problems" statements or "that's the wrong clip"

My questions are-
1-Is this happening in other places?
2-Is it the station or are repukes feeding a signal& jamming ?
3-Is there an audit of advertising?
4-Could Democrats be paying for ads that are never run?
5-Can I complain to the station? or to the FCC?
6-Can the station do this?

(I don't usually watch this particular station - I live in an area where we get tv from 4 different metro areas)

Thanks for any feedback about this.
I posted this in the Media forum & didn't get any responses & would like to hear from someone who has info about this.

Ruby

1. A few answers
Jamming is very unlikely. Too much trouble and risk for too little gain.

The station, nowadays, can pretty much do whatever they want. However, you can certainly complain to them, and should; a few complaints can have an amazing impact. You might also drop a note to media-watch groups like FAIR.

It would be good if you can get your hands on a video and transcript. The station may provide you with them if you ask.
