Poll question: Who Is The Best Liberal Columnist Out There Right Now?
Forgive me if I miss a few, I read the NY Times, Washington Post, and Newsday every day so I'm most familiar with their columnists.

My pick is Jimmy Breslin, from Newsday. Not only is he an awesome columnist, but he's a classic old school gumshoe reporter. He talks to average, everyday folk and he digs up great and interesting things and translates it into articles about nationwide news.

He's been hammering Bush mercilessly for years now and he's got the most biting criticism of Bush I've ever seen in a mainstream paper.

What's your pick?

18. That's why I voted "other"
I like the others, but Scheer just lets 'em have it, and does it with the sanctification of decades of decency and perspicacity.

4. I'm not sure I'd call Krugman a liberal
I think he defies characterization, which is why I picked him. I have little doubt that if he thought the Democrats were doing something stupid, he'd hammer them to. He's got integrity, and I respect the hell out of him.
